# The Nuance of Cancellation & Refunds

Our cancellation policy balances the unpredictable nature of global travel with the commitments we make to our local nomadic staff and boutique Riad partners.

Detailed Cancellation Penalties

• Cancellation 45+ Days Prior: Loss of 5% administrative fee only. We refund the remainder of your deposit promptly.
• 31 to 44 Days Prior: Loss of the full commitment deposit. No further charges will be applied.
• 15 to 30 Days Prior: 50% of the total tour price is due. If already paid in full, 50% will be refunded to your original payment method.
• Less than 15 Days Prior: 100% of the total tour price is due. At this stage, fuel, staffing, and room allocations are finalized and non-recoverable.

The “Saharan Credit” Policy

In the event of a documented family emergency or flight cancellation, we offer a “Saharan Credit Voucher” valid for 24 months. This allows you to reschedule your expedition at a later date without losing your investment.

Refund Mechanism

All refunds are processed in the currency of the original payment within 10 business days. Please note that banks may take an additional 5–10 days to reflect the balance.
