- Identity Verification: Full legal names and digital passport scans are required to secure “Autorisation de Voyage” from provincial authorities and to complete mandatory guest registration with the Gendarmerie Royale in Merzouga.
- Health & Vitality: We collect data on severe dietary allergies, physical mobility constraints, and chronic medical conditions to brief our desert chefs and specialized drivers. This ensures your safety in the remote environment of Erg Chebbi.
- Digital Interaction: Our servers log IP addresses and browser metadata to prevent fraudulent bookings and to optimize our site’s performance for global travelers navigating from North America, Europe, and Asia.
Data Retention & Third-Party Sharing
We do not maintain a permanent database of your sensitive documents. Passport scans are securely deleted 30 days after your tour concludes. We only share specific data fragments with:
- Boutique Riad Partners: Only your name and check-in dates are shared to facilitate room assignments in Fes, Marrakech, or the Gorges.
- Secure Payment Gateways: All financial transactions are encrypted via PayPal or Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your full credit card numbers.
- Law Enforcement: Information is only shared when strictly mandated by Moroccan national security laws for tourism safety.
